Outstanding Customer Service

We take pride in our high level of customer service. We value our relationships with referring providers.  Our employees make every effort to ensure the pathology process goes smoothly for the clinician, the clinician’s staff and the patient.

How do we accomplish this?

  • Accurate, complete readings with cases typically reported within 24 hours. We routinely handle all types of dermatopathology cases including:
    • Routine cases
    • Stat cases
    • Slow MOHS
    • Consultations
  • We are ready to quickly meet the needs of our clients. All incoming phone calls are answered by a member of our staff. There should be no long wait times when calling our laboratory. We recognize that your time is valuable. If you want to discuss a case, we do everything we can to make that happen as quickly as possible.
  • We confirm that reports of significant diagnoses (melanomas, etc.) are received by the clinician.
  • There are numerous safeguards to track and care for each specimen to ensure proper delivery to our laboratory.
  • Our dermatopathologists are easily accessible and available to discuss patient cases.
  • We understand that practices have differing preferences regarding report delivery. We will deliver the report in the manner that the practice prefers (electronic interface, fax, etc.). Clinicians can also access reports by using a HIPAA compliant online portal.
  • Our dermatopathologists work together on difficult cases (to ensure that most accurate diagnosis is made).

The vast majority of cases can be handled without special studies.  We only utilize special studies when absolutely necessary, thus avoiding unnecessarily high bills for your patients.
